Test early. Shape the product.

What a product tester does here

Many of our engineering, automation and business products are close to release. As a product tester you use selected preview versions in your day-to-day work and tell us what actually helps in practice – before the public download starts.

Why this programme exists

Software for engineering and operations has to hold up in real workflows, not only in the lab. Product testers bring their projects, formulas, documents or organisational tasks. Your feedback goes straight to development – not into a generic inbox. That is how features are built that people will actually use.

Your benefits

Early access

You work with preview versions while the public download is not yet available. You get to know the software before it is generally released.

Influence on features

What is missing, awkward or unclear in daily work can still be changed before publication. Testers help decide which steps are genuinely needed.

Direct line to development

Comments reach the team that builds the software. Short paths instead of ticket detours: questions on usability, gaps and useful extensions.

Practice, not a lab

Your real workflows make the test valuable – whether calculation, PLC design, document filing, project planning or business processes.

Shape the usability

Menus, language, workflows and documentation are sharpened with users. Unclear steps show up earlier and become easier to follow.

No obligation, flexible time

Applying is free. You set the effort: occasionally, one to two hours a week, or more intensively if it fits.

How it works

1

Apply

Choose the product, add your experience and availability, and briefly describe how you would use the software.

2

Reply

We check whether the current test build matches your use case and contact you by email.

3

Test

You receive access to the preview and try it in your own environment – with anonymised or non-critical sample data.

4

Feedback

Short, honest notes on usefulness, gaps and usability. That is what goes into the next version.

Who we are looking for

Users in technology, engineering, automation and business operations – from beginners to power users.

  • Engineers, technicians, designers and PLC programmers
  • Project managers and commercial users
  • People who bring real tasks, not only demo clicks

What we expect

Not a full-time assignment and no sales obligation. Useful feedback is what matters.

  • Some time for testing and a clear reply
  • Open comments when something is unclear or missing
  • No sensitive plant or company data in test setups – keep tests local and anonymised
